Alright people let's face facts. Some of us have been using computers for a long time, but have you ever noticed any problem with your eyes? Maybe it's because your sitting too close to the screen or maybe because you've been staring at the screen for far too long. If that's the case then maybe you've noticed your eyes playing tricks on you or maybe getting a bad headache. What you may have is what they call "Digital Eye Fatigue" or "Computer Vision Syndrome." In other words it's another way of saying eye strain. Well now there is a solution so I present to you the Gunnar Optiks Edge glasses. I've been wearing these glasses for a week now and it's time to give my final report.

The Gunnar Optiks Edge glasses are yellow-tinted glasses you wear at the computer claim to reduce "Digital Eye Fatigue" and "Computer Vision Syndrome" with i-AMP technology. In other words, they help get rid of the headaches related to eye strain. It also claims to give you "sharper, clearer vision," as well as improve your performance because the eyes are relaxed. It actually works. You don't get as physically or mentally exhausted over the course of a day. Whether it's a side effect of the lack of eye strain, the yellow tint, or something else, you'll definitely feel more alert and energetic at the end of the day.

So now that we know that Gunnar Optiks Edge glasses work for people on the computer, but what about gamers. Gunnar plans a new line of glasses for gamers coming in early 2009 so that you don't have any problems getting those much needed frags in Halo 3 of hitting that important note in Rock Band.
The Gunnar Optiks Edge glasses come in a variety of styles so you can find the right one to fit your unique look. They're also available to anyone with prescription glasses. All in all, I'm going to keep wearing them. Whether it's the glasses themselves or the placebo effect they seem to do something and why ruin a good thing. If you're especially sensitive to fluorescent lights or have recurring problems with eye strain, the Gunnar Optiks Edge glasses are worth the $139.00 price tag.
