Earlier today 2K games released an image of the final box art for the fifth installment of the popular PC franchise, Sid Meier's Civilization V. The image is full of historical landmarks, as well as military action from the past and present.

Those who have played the Civilization franchise know that in the strategy game you start in the past, during the stone age, and work your way to the future. This box art image is proof that the popular title has not gotten away from what made it a great game.

Sid Meier's Civilization V will be available for Windows PC in North America on September 21st, 2010.
